QA Manager
Salary: £35,000-£40,000 DOE

This is a Permanent position in Cornwall posted Feb 22.
My client is looking for someone who is genuinely product focused, experienced in FMCG and has a proven track record as a strong leader of people.
You will be required to apply the systems that are already in existence and will need to be able to influence and coach people who are not within your direct sphere of influence in order to deliver the quality agenda.
Candidates will need to be able to demonstrate a fair amount of time spent and experience of being in a quality focused role and they will need to be comfortable managing a team and operating in an environment that operates 24/7.
Candidates will need to have the following:
* Degree/HND or equivalent in food related subject such as Food Technology Food science.
* Previous Technical experience of FMCG food related manufacturing operations (Essential).
* Proven track record of managing a team and diverse technical activities.
* Proven track record in health & safety and management of quality systems.
* Proven track record in microbiological and hygiene based management programmes.
* Ability to interact with high profile customers.
* Knowledge of understanding of PPC and environmental management systems.
* Awareness of Ethical trading requirements and control systems.
* Lead Assessor Audit qualified.
* BRC exposure.
* Own label experience – Tesco & M&S
* Tesco Technical Library and M&S Find.
